This is #EnglishLaw. So, obviously, it would be entirely improper for an important case to be heard by a judge who could not be relied upon to independently find for the government. 😉

The ̶B̶r̶i̶t̶i̶s̶h̶ ̶G̶o̶v̶e̶r̶n̶m̶e̶n̶t̶ High Court of England & Wales has independently decided that the #PalestineAction case should be heard only by the sort of independent chaps who independently recognise that #Palestinians are like the #Irish: inherently #terrorist.

Another #AppallingVista avoided. Rest easy, #LordDenning.

The proscription of Palestine Action is ludicrous and wouldn't even have been necessary if the govt hadn't been complicit in the Gaza genocide.

It has already been reported that the company involved in the “action” case had grossly inflated the damage caused. This has reached a stage where the whole thing appears to be a complete #fabrication.

It needs more than a few judges, it needs an #investigation into corporate #corruption.

Meanwhile the #genocide in #gaza perpetrated by the terrorist state of #israel , continues, and is still supported by the #ukgovernment .

Our #ukgovernment has been #corrupt at least since the times of Pepys. Half the ships used for hulks on the thames were rotten though sold as good quality.

#outsourcing corruption then was the same as for #ppi recently

The #corruption will continue to worsen while we have this medieval and #archaic house of #lords. The house of #commons is at least #elected, even though many of the #members are abject liars and are probably worse thieves than dick turpin ever was. #ukpol

@RichRARobi The #HouseOfLords is obscene, but has little power. Its main function is as a bauble for fatcat donors.

The main reforms needed to end the UK's rampant corruption are:

1/ ban non-trivial donation to political parties. In Ireland, the limit is €5ķ/Yr
2/ Abolish the colonial tax havens
3/ Abolish #FPTP elections. Use #STV in constituencies with at least 5 seats.
4/ ban fatcat ownership of news media

Then there's some chance.

I am uncertain where the British #highcourt members are ‘sourced’ but having seen the divisive, #unscientific and rambling #decision over #sexuality recently they appear to be in drastic need of an update themselves.

Impartial? Not apparently. #ukpol

Maybe the HAGUE is needed in order to jolt the #ukgovernment into behaving with some #integrity
