So, appears Nobara 43 is out...ish.
No updated ISO-files yet and no changelog yet, but my Nobara 42 upgraded to 43 without any additional steps over normal updates.

What is Nobara?
https://nobaraproject.org
It's like @fedora @kde Plasma Desktop 43 Linux, but with added user conveniences like on first boot detecting your GPU to ask which drivers (incl proprietary if you prefer) you want for it to then install and version-maintain it properly, ask if you want to install support for audio/video-formats that are restricted due to patents-bullshit but installable after system-install, pre-installed and set up or easily done so with like a push of a button or two for WINE, DaVinci Resolve with compatibility fixes, OBS Studio, Discord, Steam with Proton and fixes by Glorious Eggroll also used by other distributions but Glorious Eggroll is also Nobara's maintainer, etc, etc.
So, it's like... if Fedora is an eggroll, then Nobara is the tamari that makes it a Glorious Eggroll. ;-)
The only real downside from what I am aware of, compared to "vanilla" Fedora KDE Edition is lack of "Secure Boot" (without doing it manually).
Yes, it's my main.

@b9AcE @fedora @kde

Also apparmor is used instead of selinux. And it was maintained afaik from only one person #busfactor But besides these interesting :)

@nemo Yep, that's another reason for regular at home users to prefer Nobara over "vanilla" Fedora KDE Edition. Unless they run a bank or a government agency at home. ;-P SELinux of course has vastly superior capabilities, but also is vastly obstructive if one just wants a desktop to play games on and use the Web on, which if anything more likely means the user will either switch to something else or will just disable the security mechanism completely when it's "just annoying", whereas AppArmor pretty much never should even be noticed by average users.
@b9AcE :D I like your humor :D You have for sure some points there :) Chappeau. Dont get me wrong I love nobara I also love regular Fedora or https://secureblue.dev/ ever tried that? It has even hardened malloc the whole setup is more close to grapheneos than a regulard desktop linux :D Before I forget I should install dangerzone. 🀦 Forget it non stop.
