MarjorieR@iriyan @Tutanota well if you are using an external Chatbot embedded in Firefox, such as ChatGPT then clearly a lot of your PI is flowing out them. At the moment, however by default no 'partner' LLM is specified and you can also go into about:config and explicitly disallow AI related features.
Similarly you are exposing yourself if you are using a seach engine with AI, such as Google or DDG unless you turn off the AI features (which you still can do). There are some search engines that avoid AI entirely.
Firefox's language translation AI is run locally and should be safe enough.

I use librewolf not vanilla ff and no Ai
I try to use searx but it is flaky and some nodes are just flooded by unrelated ad hits instead of results, startpage seems to work well, afaik no Ai or tracking by startpage

After all, 640k should be enough for anybody.
But, you have to remember that those data broker partners gather data to sell on to other companies.
So you can argue that MS has many more "partners" if you count those that are twice, thrice or more times removed.
