As a (retired) senior U.S. intelligence leader who spent the year before this article desperately trying to convince #GenocideJoe and the #BlinkenIdiot that "Israel right or wrong" had ceased to be a viable lens for U.S. Middle East policy at the end of the Cold War (if indeed it had EVER been), reading this stirred up a lot of old frustrations & anguish.

I had warned repeatedly that modern Zionism SINCE ITS BEGINNING had been an ideology of #EthnicCleansing--and that greenlighting #IsraelAtWarCrimes' genocidal overreach would only prove to Hamas that their VASTLY greater adherence (than our "civilized" ally) since before the *2014* Gaza War to the norms of the Law of Armed Conflict had been a wasted effort...without making Israelis one bit safer than all their decades of walls & securitization had on 7 October.

I cautioned that unlike OUR generation, rising generations of Americans had NEVER KNOWN the Jewish State™ that had helped Muslims & Christians turn back the tide of godless Communism--only the one that had been committing livestreamed #genocide and #CrimesAgainstHumanity for their entire lives--and that our continued support of #KingBibiAntipas in the face of such ethnosupremacist atrocities would alienate them in ways that would risk handing OUR OWN country back to the EVEN MORE murderous 'Christian' Zionism of the #Donjjal and his #Talibangelical minions like Commander Mike "Small" Johnson (R-Gilead).

And here we are, as the new POTUS seeks to build his fantasy of a Nobel Peace Prize ON THE PEACE OF THE GRAVE, in an ethnically cleansed, recolonized Palestine protected by the guns of those who'll turn a blind eye.

The moral of the story? We're LONG past time, across the Anglosphere and Europe, to get our politics out from under the ossified worldviews of octogenarian white guys who can't drag their thinking into the 21st Century, and turn them over to the generations who are going to have to LIVE in it.

And we're long past the time to find a measure of humility in our missteps & moral failures of the last quarter-century, and SIT THE HELL DOWN to allow the VICTIMS of our centuries of colonial exploitation to rise and lead, subservient to NO superpower, East OR West.

May our Creator guide us to what is better. 🤲
