Another cocktail for another new moth I had this year. The moth was the Dark Seedhead Moth, Apodia martinii, so the drink is:

Apodia Martini

40ml gin
10ml Pedro Ximenez sherry
dash of black walnut bitters
twist of orange

This was a good one. Quite complex and sophisticated, almost chocolatey; the sweet sherry, walnut and orange combo is quite Christmassy.

Incidentally, the reason it doesn't have fresh orange peel as a garnish is that I got fed up with semi-peeled oranges drying up in the fridge, so I put some orange extract in a spritz bottle instead. It works fine.
