I bought a plywood basket bottom from the fair yesterday and started crocheting this morning.

I did not have the yarn I thought I did in my stash, but I think this combination I discovered is even better! The blue didn't look as I'd hoped for on its own, so I unravelled the UFO and used it on this instead. 5/5 good choice, it works so well with the off-white!

@asta Oh that lace stitch looked so pretty, though the yarn seems almost grayish on its own? Unless it's the picture. The white on the new piece makes the blue stand out! I've always wanted to try one of these bases, I'm curious to see how the basket turns out!

@aliceinwaterdeep It is bluer irl but definitely looks bluer with the white! It's quite dull on its own which.

I didn't buy a lid but might have to ask my partner to laser cut me one once the basket is complete. 👀
