I've just landed and am now waiting for the train to take me to the wedding (easily the hardest part of this 14-hour journey). Yay! It was all going well until my second train was delayed by 35 mins. And then it was cancelled 40 mins before I reached my destination. So my husband had to pick me up and I just about managed to hug and congratulate the happy couple, since everybody was packing up or had already left (the venue was only booked until late afternoon). So no wedding cake for me, but we could take a slice home with us, so there's that. 🥲
