The B.C. government has brought in new rules that limit when an employer can ask for a sick note, saving doctors the burden of writing them and preventing patients from spreading their illness even further.

Good because requiring a doctor's note to be excused from work is a waste of doctors' time, and when I am feeling very ill with a virus I do not feel up to dragging myself out of bed, to go sit in a doctor's office, not to mention spread that illness to other vulnerable patients.
