A pair of Alien eggs the size of chicken eggs.
Epoxy putty over a plaster egg cast, plus some plastic rod for the fingers.

The closed egg was made first and then I created a mould with Oyumaru and cast the open egg with epoxy putty (hollow), leaving off the top.
Then I only had to sculpt the open "mouth" and create the Facehugger.
I then added the "roots" last to both eggs.

@MacBalance Indeed, and we all know what Giger would have used for scale. That would not be safe to show, work or otherwise.
