wdhughes.bsky.socialIt's like on the one hand I'm used to milquetoast #Democrats who SOMEHOW still believe in #compromise & rapport & "disagreeing without being disagreeable" & collegiality... so I'm not surprised those #EightTraitors (we'll land on something eventually...) abandoned us... /1
...but on the other hand, they did manage to #HangTogether for 40 days which is longer than they ever have managed to fight for us before.
The next fight is in January, I guess, so we need to put together a big pile of voters & dollars to make it clear they shall not cave without SOMETHING concrete
