New post on Philosophics.blog — Pure Reason: The Architecture of Illusion

Kant’s dream: a universe made of logic, untouched by experience.
For three turns, evidence is suspended; only deduction remains.
The Enlightenment’s most beautiful labyrinth.

@microglyphics systems of thought exist that are grounded in some aspect of reality that we shape, most often as communities. Such systems have their logic, including ontology, mereology, that allows "valid" deductions... what I mean are technologies in the most general sense (including technologies of the social).
@tg9541 You’re absolutely right that systems of thought become grounded once they enter the social or technological domain. That’s the transition from pure to practical or instrumental reason — when deduction meets implementation and begins shaping the world it once merely described.

@tg9541 This card, though, was about the precursor — reason in isolation, self-suspended, constructing universes from deduction alone. The others in the series explore what happens when those constructions hit reality: when logic becomes machinery, policy, or ideology. That’s where the Enlightenment project turns pragmatic — and sometimes monstrous.

Stay tuned. lol
