Have you heard about Schwalbe's new Clik valves? @MartyCormack asks:

I have 4 bikes with Presta and 1 with Schrader valves. I have several floor pumps, hand pumps, tire gauges, CO2 cartridge adapters and a power mini pump. Many those might be obsolete if I were to switch to Clik valves.

Q3. Can anyone explain the benefit of Clik valves?
Has anyone switched?

Clik Valve

@ascentale @MartyCormack @bikenite #BikeNite A3: I have switched 2 of my bikes and I intend to switch all in the long run. Both of them had flats shortly afterwards. 1st case was though unrelated as I it was a metal filing which punctured the tube after I raised the pressure from 3 to 4 bar shortly after switching to #ClikValve. 2nd case still needs to be investigated.

But the usage when mounting a pump is so much easier. Pop off the cap, pop on the pump, pop off the pump, pop on the cap. ๐Ÿงต 1/2

@ascentale @MartyCormack @bikenite #BikeNite A3: On the pump side, I have Schrader to #ClikValce adapters on the home compressor. the Cycplus pocket compressor and my Topeak hand pump. The only annoying thing is: You can't seem to get these adapters alone. I bought at least one valve set primarily to get another adapter. ๐ŸคŒ
