So on my laptop there's a program called "poppler" that has updates every few months. It came with the Linux Mint installation and I don't think I've ever gone out of my way to use it.

I keep it installed because every time the name comes up in the update manager I'm reminded of Futurama and smile.

@mrgm If you ever open PDF files, then you've used it before. It's the name of a PDF library that's used by many PDF reader programs on Linux.

@Tau314Sigma Ahh, that would do it! I haven't opened any on this laptop as I've only had it for a few months, but I've likely used it on the Lenovo Tiny PC in my office I've had for the better part of a year now.
