First #POTA in a while. Which is a bit of a crime when the lovely Crickley Hill GB-0516 is only 10 mins from work!
Getting used to using the #QMX before commiting to a #SOTA with it. Works great. But either the keyer in the rig or the #BamaTech key has something I need to get used to as I couldn’t send for toffee today! Apologies hunters!

@M5OTA Do you use the 9V variant? What kind of battery and inverter are you using?

@DL2EJF I have the 12v variant. Partly so I can use the same Lithium-ion batteries I use in my KX2.
But here I am using a USB C to 12v PD cable with the right barrel connector that I got on e-bay. Weirdly / inefficiently I am using a 12v socket to USB C adaptor in the campervan. But I wanted to try the cable to see if was noisy. Seems OK on 20M at least.
