This does not look good for #usDemocracy no matter what side of the aisle you're on

IDC if you say we're a "democratic republic"; people clearly don't trust the public systems!
A democracy cannot properly function without public trust.
This data looks like a country with a puppet democracy.

Also most interesting: Nearly half of people asked have 'very little' trust in "big business" capitalism.

@bamboy This doesn't look like a distrust in democracy.

This looks like distrust in a fake pretend-democracy. People who want democracy and believe in it have all the reason to distrust the American political institutions.
It's a system that uses rigged elections to keep rich people in power whose goal is to suppress the rights of the people and extract their wealth to give it to billionaires.
For the US to become a democracy, its institutions have to be thrown out and rebuild.

This is good.

@yora I agree with what you say, I just don't think that the US will survive such a rebuilding, if it even starts

Too many decades of propaganda and brewing mistrust. Too many power hungry people looking for power grabs

It'll really come down to what state leaders decide to do in the face of this (continuing) gross violation of presidency

No doubt if/when a state tries to step out of line, they will be painted as the bad guy, and this civil war will begin

Who gonna control the nukes tho ðŸ«
