Assessing the Facts and Legal Questions About the U.S. Strikes on Alleged Drug Boats - FactCheck.org

At least 61 people have been killed in 14 U.S. military strikes on boats in the Caribbean Sea and Pacific Ocean since early September. Here, we will address what is known about the targets of the strikes, the trafficking of illicit substances from South and Central America to the U.S., and what experts are saying about the legality of the Trump administration's escalation of the war on drugs.

While there's almost zero doubt a small aluminum boat with two or four outboard motors is a "#DrugBoat", #MAGAts are unaware of a few key details:

1) #Venezuela is just over 1,300 miles from the Florida coast. These boats couldn't reach the U.S. if they grew wings.

2) Many of these drug runners ferry innocent civilian passengers to neighboring islands to use as human shields and make extra money.

3) Extra-judicial assassinations are a sure way to start an international incident.

"#MAGAts are unaware", they aren't unaware: they don't care.

@elCelio @MugsysRapSheet @dustcircle MAGAs in a nutshell:

- "Charlie Kirk was murdered by a soulless sack of worms and he deserves death penalty for taking a human life away from us".
- "Any comments about Venezuelan fishers murdered by Trump?"
- "Look, I don't have time to worry about scums. They were asking for it".

No, I'd be willing to bet money most of them couldn't find #Venezuela on a map if you spelled it for them.
