#Russian attacks on #Ukrainian civilians in the areas closer to the frontlines are "systematically coordinated actions" - a report by the Independent International Commission of Inquiry in #Ukraine presented to the #UN General Assembly.
"The attacks - which have struck a wide range of civilian targets in an area spanning over 300 kilometres along the right bank of the #Dnipro_River, across #Dnipropetrovsk, #Kherson, and #Mykolaiv regions -
are systematically coordinated actions designed to drive #Ukrainians out of their homes," the report says.
The Commission identified specific perpetrators of the attacks, drone units and their associated military formations, as well as commanders stationed on the left bank of the #Dnipro_River. All of them, according to the report, belong to the "#Dnepr" group of forces of the #Russian_Federation.
The document also states that the #Russian authorities systematically carried out deportations
and forced transfers of civilians from areas of #Zaporizhzhia region under their control. Members of the Commission declared that such actions constitute war crimes.
