@darkghosthunter is this referencing some case of an org actually spending 40% of their budget on inclusive bathrooms? If that's not the case, this reads like a straw man argument, and not a good one...

@iris It's an exagerration. My point is, essentially, I donate to keep the lights on, and bring more lights.

If they want to spend on painting lights of all colors, great, do not use money I donated for. Instead, use the money that comes from somewhere else specifically for this matter.

@darkghosthunter I can't figure out a kind way to respond here. You injected trans rights, unprompted, as an example of something superfluous and wasteful, and you have now twice made straw man arguments about the financial burden of trans inclusivity. I don't think we have any more to discuss, but I hope you will reflect on what kind of ideas you're reinforcing and whether that's the mark you want to leave on the world.

@darkghosthunter Dude, why was your first instinct when bringing up superfluous spending a pointless strawman that had to denigrate a group of people ? Unprompted and for no reason too.

It's not like the sentiment of "Spend wisely and efficiently" is bad, the way you had to go about it is just weird.

Either way, I support the sentiment to donate to Gnome. It has made some great strides and I'm pretty happy with how well the final product is coming out currently.
