According to the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defence, on October 25, a car exploded in the #Kemerovo region, driven by police lieutenant colonel #Veniamin_Mazzherin. He served in the #OMON special unit "#Obereg".
ℹ️ "Obereg" is a #Rosgvardiya unit involved in war crimes during the occupation of parts of the #Kyiv region. Based on collected evidence and eyewitness testimonies, the Office of the Prosecutor General has opened a criminal case against the servicemen of the unit, in particular for violations of the laws and customs of war.
In April 2022, military intelligence identified the war criminals of "#Obereg" by name.
