The FT-817ND got some upgrades: A PowerPole adapter on the back, side rails, a 3 Ah battery and a hatch to charge the battery more easily.
Now I just need some time to spare and a little bit nicer weather. #hamradio

@asciijungle @DL6PL I would love to find a 817 or 818. I bought a 817 replacement BNC 6m/2m/70cm three piece antenna for my VX-6R, to better pick up 6m signals but haven't heard much here yet.

@KM7CDC @asciijungle It's a great rig. I bought an unused one from a silent key's collection and I really like it. Luckily it's very popular, so there are still lots of offers listed on the used market
