Windows 11 is, well, shit. But, Windows is modular, and pretty much everything can be removed or modified with the right tools and knowhow.

Here's a 23 minute special showing how to un-enshittify Windows 11 from stock install to finish, using open source and/or completely free tools.

Lydie Unenshittifies Windows 11

@Lydie do you have a list of links for all the tools you used in this video to do this to windows 11?
@Lydie hmm,
yes indeed.
it has so much shite bogging it's self down, that when you remove it all, it's a good os don't you know,
to get a view of what windows 11 would actually be like with out all of the shite, install windows server, 2025, datasenter desktop experience.
it comes with the windows 11 UI, and without all of the shiiiite dumpped on top of it.
windows 11 is a suiege system which has been dumpped on so very much, that it's gold and glitter has been, err, tarnished and is bearly visible.

@Lydie Thank you for the list. I recently had to install W11 in VB and was saddened to see it appeared as if MS had fully locked down local accounts.

I'd much rather remove enshittification and the ability to customize things than _just_ a local account. So by making it harder to have local accounts, they've opened up the door to even more modifications. Thanks again.
