You know what I don't ever see? #EnvironmentalActivists protesting against the #PaperSpam that is #Advertisements. I'm not saying it doesn't happen, but I never see it. I'm literally more aware of people sabotaging the tires of doctors because they don't like their cars than I am of ANYBODY protesting about the billions of tons of dead trees used by the advertisement industry.
Current relevant example: I ordered one pizza and got 5 (!!!) copies of domino's current discount codes, to be used on the same website I used to order said pizza, where the same discounts can be applied with a single click/tap without even knowing said codes.
Here's a proposal: Ask people to collect all the paper ads they get in 2026 and use them to block the street in front of your local government offices or newspaper headquarters or something similarly public at the end of the year.
