Nå har jeg fulgt litt med i feeden på #Hudd i noen dager, og det den minner meg mest på er så absolutt «boomerfacebook» fra tida før hele feeden ble oversvømt av reklame og AI-slop. #NorskTut #allheimen
@norman Surely just a matter of time before you start seeing ads in Hudd?
@matt They’re kinda there already. Businesses pay for exposure. It’s just less invading than other platforms as of now, but that might be mostly because Hudd isn’t as interesting for advertisers yet.
@norman I want to say mean things about the designers at Hudd every time I see the app. But... must... resist... 🤐
@matt Word. The app is crap. Ended up deleting my account now, after checking it out for two weeks. Saw that they got plans for introducing marketplace and dating functionality. Algorithms and targeted ads or not, it seems like #Hudd just wants to be another “everything platform” that people can’t live without. All that idealistic “local platform for real people” image doesn’t seem too trustworthy. The only thing that makes Hudd a better choice than Facebook is that it isn’t owned by Meta, I’d say.
