I’m really curious what you all think about the current addon situation in World of Warcraft. Blizzard’s limiting what addons can access through the API while improving the default UI, is this the right direction, or do you prefer the full addon freedom we used to have?

@Dvalin Long term I think it will be better for the health of the game. For far too long you played your addons, not the actual game in group content. The complexity of boss fights never stopped going up to the point that mere mortals or casuals (the bulk of the player base) were locked out of the signature parts of the game. Now hopefully a looser, more fun approach to things can return to the game.
