Burning Joint USAI was wondering if I was the only person that was going to do the math... I think it comes out to roughly $100/troop. Like good job, being a bootlicker with your vast fortune just bought the military less than a day. The really funny thing is that this money could have done a lot more for vulnerable segments of society, but rather than do that, he would rather allow them at least one more day of attacking those segments of society. Billionaires are parasites. If you don't want billionaires, you should probably do your part and only buy the bare minimum things you need to survive. The only way we can hurt them until they run out of money to pay their protectors, is to starve them out.
@grimacing in Maryland alone, 26,000 furloughed & out of work federal government workers are on lines at food banks to make ends meet. Millions and billions of dollars are delivered into the hands of other billionaires while working class Americans - who have been booted out of work by this administration cannot meet monthly bills. This impacts the entire economy: housing and mortgages, credit card debt, school loans, manufacturing, agriculture and famers, transportation, construction on and on.
The funny thing is ya'll haven't figured out that this is fascism. This is how the shit works. Trump wants a budget to fund the shit HE wants, not the shit YOU want. He doesn't care about you. He doesn't care about the furloughed workers that he was already in the process of cutting. All this shit was going to get cut so he could use that money on ballrooms and warships and his own private gestapo that get $70,000 sign on bonuses direct from that stupid fucken budget. You were never getting that money. You're still not. The only that has changed is that it is getting harder for him to find the money for his gestapo. Thats a good thing. Evverything else... It sucks.
