@johnadams I have been following the story. I get the idea that the burbs feel like they're paying more and getting less. But by pulling out completely they're endangering the entire region when we need interconnected mass transit the most. As a Dallasite we are overwhelmed with traffic to & from the burbs. So there's a part of me that really seethes when I hear these civic leaders complain about DART only to push a referendum to exit. That's bad faith politics & it does no one any good.

Addison leaders reject an election to leave DART 🚌 🚋 🚏

Addison City Council voted 4-3 not to call a spring election to withdraw from DART. The agency recently began its new Silver Line commuter rail service, which includes a stop in Addison.
