#Russian forces executed a #Ukrainian family in #Zvanivka, #Donetsk region.
#Olha, her husband, and their elder son were hiding in the basement of their house, while the younger son had gone to a neighbours to fetch water. #Russian soldiers broke into the home and began interrogating the family about the location of #Ukrainian Defenders in the village.
After receiving no information, #Russians temporarily left.
However, one of them later returned and opened fire on the civilians with an automatic weapon before leaving the basement, believing all three to be dead.
#Olha miraculously survived. But suffered a gunshot wound to her jaw.
Worried about her younger son, she made her way to the neighbouring basement, where she found his body alongside those of the shot neighbours.
#Olha managed to reach #Ukrainian-controlled territory. She was taken to a hospital.
