Good Fortune (2025)

Aziz Ansari and Seth Rogan are great in the movie, but it is Keanu Reeves as the Angel Gabriel who makes this film so good. Keanu is awesome and he plays his Angel Gabriel as a version of Ted from Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure.

While I get what writer/director Ansari was trying to get at with the story, it came off a bit inauthentic and by the end of the movie the message really felt like: If you’re poor and suffering, you just have to accept it, suffer and work your way out of your misery.

The movie was not as funny as it could have been considering those involved.

My rating is mainly because of Keanu Reeves who lifts this movie from mediocrity to above average.

Rated 6 out of 10.

Will wait to take a look at #GoodFortune on an alt streaming channel .

Should have done that for the #SmashingMachine. 👎

Going to take a chance on #TronAres at my local #AMC later today.

Hope it's better than its poor box office numbers suggest. 🙏

@sgt1372 I’m not even planning on seeing Smashing Machine — theater or streaming. Seems like an Oscar-bait Vanity project.

Actually just found the #SmashingMachine & #TronAres on an alt streaming channel.

Gotta remember to check the #AltStreaming channels for movies that I'm just luke warm about watching, which included both of these.🤦‍♂️

So, I'mg oing to watch #TronAres on the alt streaming channel instead watching the time & $ at my local theater.

PS: Just found #GoodFortune on an alt streaming channel too! 😉
