@OpenBSDAms it's time to sysupgrade lad

@OpenBSDAms Yeah, no thanks. The unilateral decision that my yubikey is no longer welcome has put me off of OpenBSD in what feels like a pretty final way. The utterly infantile responses from Theo on the mailing lists were the final nails in that coffin.

Love OpenBSD for its contributions to computing, and will continue to speak its praises in that regard. But using it, or contributing to it? Nope.

Our internal policies now mark 7.7 as the last release that can be used on production-level hardware. This is because we simply cannot use 7.8 and be compliant with our internal security policies and authentication mechanisms. More than anything, this makes me sad, becuase our "acceptable use" policy has been something to behold for the last 20 years, and this lessens it.

@OpenBSDAms Is that the same cvs that was superseded by svn, which was in turn superseded by git?
@underlap not sure what you mean.

@OpenBSDAms I was referring to the cvs subdomain here:

Maybe it's unrelated to cvs version control?

@underlap @OpenBSDAms no, you're right - it is the CVS you think. OpenBSD development is primarily on CVS but is mirrored on git now too
