“No Kings” sounds too extreme. Too confrontational.

Can we moderate it a bit? Make it more centrist? Some kings?

@divestspd

I think what you're looking for is
#NotAllKings

@wrog @divestspd What we are looking for is a 'left' that actually says what we mean rather than watering it down to avoid offending the donor class.

#NoBillionaires or #NoOligarchs would be an actual rallying cry rather than protesting a monarchy that does not and can not exist. If you really wanna get serious, try #NoCapitalism

@reflex @divestspd

yeah, I'd be kind of surprised if #NotAllKings went viral. (it's up there with #KingsLivesMatter and similar absurdities).

The problem with #NoCapitalism is too many people have been (arguably purposefully) mis-educated about what capitalism is (and likewise for Marxism and the other critiques), but if we start hitting on the things that matter then we get stuck in the weeds

#NoBarriersToEntry
#ActualCompetition
#FullInformation
#MaximumWage
#PropertyResponsibilities
#MaximumFirmSize
#SensibleBillionaireRegistration
#MonopsonyIsBadToo

none of these are really rolling off of the tongue

@wrog @divestspd To me #NoBillionaires is reasonable, but again they don't want to offend the hypothetical "good billionaire" so we are stuck with a slogan that is literally meaningless in a non-monarchy.
