As I'm trying to make #linux my daily driver, I'm trying to look for some equivalents to applications that don't have a native equivalent (that I'm aware of)

Right now, there are two main ones I'm looking for:
* A launcher that supports menus in the "taskbar" similar to truelaunchbar which I've been using for years. (See screenshot)

* A media organizer/sync utility like #mediamonkey that allows me to manage and synchronize my music with my android phone. (A proper self-hosted streaming option would be lovely, but I can't be bothered right now, so I'm looking for quick.)

Anyone have any suggestions?

I'm currently running Linux Mint.

@lothaekor For syncing files, I can recommend SyncThing. It's my favorite Swiss army knife for keeping folders in sync across multiple devices, peer-to-peer, no servers involved.
