<Child at an arcade in the '80s>: DAD! MOM! Can I have quarters to play Out Run?

<Parents>: We have Out Run at home.

In reality, I never played Out Run as a kid. But I did play a *LOT* of Rad Racer on my relatives' NES, and I loved the game. I picked this up yesterday at the MIT Flea/Swapfest yesterday, after I packed up my tables and did a quick run over to visit some other vendors I'm acquainted with.

The sticker on this one reads $12, but the vendor told me to give him $10 so he didn't need to make change. Happy to do so.

That vendor is one of the best at the Flea for old games. He sets up a massive spread of tables with hundreds of cartridges and discs, almost all of it from the '80s and '90s. A ton of Japanese imports, too. He has good prices and is friendly and welcoming.

I asked him how he did with Sunday's sales, and his mood fell. He told me that the Trump tariffs were making it much harder for him to get his normal shipments, and that his sales have gone way down since last year.

He deserves better than that.
@GamesMissed Rad Racer is the bomb dot com. I want to make a video of me beating the game in 3D! Red and blue glasses analog 3D.
@bemerald My relatives never had the red-blue glasses when I was a kid, so I've never played it in 3D mode. I'm pretty sure I have a pair of those around here somewhere, and if not I'm going to buy them.
