Me and my girlfriend have been getting into bigger and bigger games recently and some of the games take up so much space on the table that we don’t have a lot of room for sitting drinks or snacks. So I made these shelves that clamp on the edge to give us more room. What do you all think?

@TheDeckie Please excuse the messiness from the underside. It took me a few iterations to get a good clamp position. But these are the two that work the best.

They look totaly fine to me.
Great idea with that kind of fastener.
And even the round one is having a good hold with that small contact field?

Like the different shapes and colours a lot.

@TheDeckie With the much bigger clamp the circle holds better than the triangle with the smaller clamps.

@castaway Since these were proof of concept pieces, I stuck with simple flat shelves, but I’ve definitely thought about doing more traditional cup holders, or trays with lips. Really any shape is possible.
