It was built in the 11th century and used as a castle, a fort and a prison during the ages. It was ruined in 1765. You have a fantastic view from there over the beautiful landscape of the Swabian Alps.

@hikingdude highly recommend, if you wait until dusk you might encounter some tawny owls (Waldkäuze!) on your way back to the parking spot 💖
