Attempting to use the toaster oven instead of the oven for the frozen Jamaican patties I bought this weekend (because, theoretically, less CO2 impact). I suspect microwave-then-bake would be faster, though. 🤔

Okay, microwave would not be good, this was delicious after baking. Extremely, extremely flaky crust (thus, the baking). Tried the "jerk chicken" version, next time I try the classic ground beef version. Yummy! (hopefully I don't regret the habanero content later, lol) #patty

@ai6yr How hot it is all depends on who's making it, I think. I have never had one that's really hot because I've only had access to frozen processed ones (except for the original handmade pies at Noble House of Pies, but the owner of that was Australian).

@ai6yr You could defrost in the microwave wave and cook in the toaster oven.
Love my toaster oven! Use it more than the big oven. I cook everything in there that fits!
