@arabest @itsfoss I’ve been a user of hypr* for a long time and have yet to feel the need to be a part of any hypr community. It’s an opt-in thing. Regardless, it’s still foss. Best to keep your politics and ideologies out of it and enjoy the software, not the people

@arabest @itsfoss well in the thing you linked, its clear that the issue is with the community, not the project. Since the community is opt-in and you dont have to be a part of it, its still perfectly valid for someone to promote the software, and not the community. You can argue they go hand n hand but they really dont.. you dont HAVE to be apart of the community to use the software. Boycotting the software because a bunch of people, who like it, are trash, is nonsensical
