What I do from time to time:

I buy a small box of ice cream at the supermarket; and while I just need one I give the others to people that I stumble upon when leaving the market. This time a man said, that he wanted to buy ice cream but not three and did not buy it. So now he had one for free. The women in front of the freebox was also happy and so was I. It was delicious.
