Odd little thing that I have notice, when typing a reply into the 'compose' box on the mastodon website interface, the compose box appears to bounce, making the original toot appear to bounce and flash.

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this at all?

@robchapman Nothing like that on mas.to, in Firefox. nothing moves except for the cursor.

@ticho Hmm, weird. I literally shut down and rebooted and the issue has gone, but instead I have lag, I think this is a browser/site display issue. So I am going to roll back to the old browser before yesterdays updates, then lock the version in synaptic, to stop it updating until the next version release, after what I think is the problem release

@robchapman I just remembered that I am using several CSS overrides to make the interface waste less screen space, so my experience is probably not representative. :)

@ticho I think you might notice if your compose box was attached to a yo-yo, even with your custom tweaks. I think it is me, starting to think I am having 'actual' system issues - this is just the latest in a growing list of shit that shouldn't be happening but is since, the big system version update (I use MXlinux btw)

Edit: the problem, I seem to have solved, somehow the display settings had been changed, in particular the refresh rate - I have no clue how that got altered
