So it was Lennon's birthday recently and the local public radio station had an NPR program and they were going through some Lennon music. Of course it had the NPR style narration and education piece.

Okay, here is my curmudgeon thought..

I am 62 years old, the last thing I need is some 30 year old friggin "curating" the Lennon catalog for me. Also, Crippled inside isn't a happy song. Say that to my face and I will cripple you outside.

@tor_haxson like the awful TV docs about ‘classic albums’ and bands where the curators have clearly never even listened to the music, watched one about the Dead where Dark Star was listed as a key album.

@tor_haxson 😄 probably overthinking it! I guess none of these things are written for obsessive completists who have been listening to the band for 40 years! Just be happy Pink Floyd at Pompeii was on tv on Friday night.
