Pollinators
October 12, 2025. We are dehydrating hot peppers. These varieties are Challeano, Georgia Flame, Maules Red Hot, Cyklon, Joes Long Red Cayenne, Hot Portugal, Wenks, and Jalapeno. We started the seeds inside on March 20th. These are Seed Savers of Iowa seeds. Their growing season continues through this week. The plants are quite robust this growing season. @gecole A nice bit about fermentation of hot peppers is the colors stay vibrant. We have one batch of Rempah fermenting at this time.

@Vanalope Pepper start stuff you say. Southern Minnesota is Zone 4b at our nodig garden. We plan for planting out in mid May. We adjusted to plant several weeks later as the 2025 spring was cool. It was a good growing season. #minnesota, #Zone4b, #growyourown, #nodig
