Dear @bridgefy,

What’s the point of “messages without internet” if you’re asking me to sign up for an account, **especially** an #apple or #google account!?

No, thanks.
And goodbye! o/

@yorgos We're not asking you to sign up for an account. We ask that you sign in with any of your existing Google/Apple/Microsoft accounts, it's different. Logging in generates and syncs essential credentials and encryption keys. This allows Bridgefy to work fully offline afterward, without needing an Internet connection again. You don't need Internet to send messages, just once to set up your account. Goodbye! o/

@bridgefy

a. Thanks for the response. I appreciate that.
b. Let's not get into "Sign in" vs. "Sign up" semantics. Neither makes sense to me, for an offline service, but maybe I'm missing something.
c. Your message still doesn't explain *why* the 3rd-party identity provider is required. What does it solve / add that the app couldn't achieve without it? Can you help me understand that part?
d. Ppl would swarm to this app, *after* the internet is down / censored / etc. How could it work then?
