First one I can personally remember is 1975, when Charles Taylor (who is not on the list), Herbert W. Armstrong, and the Jehovah's Witnesses were all predicting Armageddon that year. Unless you count the founding of Microsoft as an apocalypse, the world went on as previously scheduled.
