Enno ParkUnpopuläre Meinung zu #AlienEarth (nach 2 Folgen): Ja, hübsches Production Design, aber die ganze transhumanistische Story um Wendy habe ich schon zig mal gesehen/gelesen. Der Alien-Erzählstrang bildet einen austauschbaren Hintergrund, könnten auch Zombies, Demogorgons oder AFD-Mitglieder sein. Das totale Ausgeliefertsein, dass die ersten Alien-Filme so sauspannend gemacht hat, fehlt der Serie (wie allen späteren Alien-Filmen) und ich langweilige mich deshalb beim Zuschauen. Kommt das noch?

The #Transhuman plot kinda takes over after the 2nd episode. I found it interesting, but somehow, these recent stories (like #BSG and #WestWorld) always miss the first, most horrific part of transhumanism, exemplified in the protocols from #Robocop. These stories propose that artificial transhumans, manufactured by coorporations, will be totally free to think and move, and not have hard shutdown contingencies curbing their free will. 😵💫
