Since Russia isn't responsible for the drones that are violating sovereign airspace across Europe, there's no need for concern regarding Russian reaction if those drones are destroyed.
Why is there any hesitance to take action against these drones since Russia denies any responsibility for the incursions?
Take Putin at his word, in this situation, and act accordingly.

These "drones" is what we used to call UFOs
But we can't freak the peasants out as most people do not absorb the knowledge that they are NOT gods special snowflake very well.
The #drones have the following characteristics.
- They are immune to our EW anti-drone jamming tech
- They have either very low or exotic themal/IR signature
- When followed, they disappear into thin air (full stealth)
- I believe there is a reluctance to shoot them down after a few classified attempts over US military bases.
- They have loiter times of 6-7 hours.
- They have been observing morphing in and out of "#orbs"
