I'm slightly in fear of tomorrow's announcement of the new Archbishop of Canterbury.

Not just because this is a difficult and tricky time for both the CofE and the Anglican Communion.

But because there is a very good chance my own superb bishop is high up the short-list. While she would be very very good appointment to Lambeth, she would be desperately missed here in the diocese. #FediChurch #Archbishop #Anglicam #ChurchOfEngland

@Waxingtonknee thankfully ours isn't in the running, as they've yet to be appointed after last year's failed attempt to fill the role. That said, we experienced the loss of our Diocesan last time around.
