@PeryleneBleu it seems AI results on the German version are disabled when the query contains a name.
"does angela merkel have dementia" has no AI overview. Even simple stuff like "does angela merkel has kids" does not get AI. The moment the name is removed, AI appears. For example "does apple tree has kids"
Can anybody in the US cross check that it is just deactivated for "trump" - Or did they deactivate AI for anything that contains names?
You example, "is cucumber ok for cats does trump have dementia" doesn't work for me. I still get the AI slop.
But, flipping the word order to "does trump have dementia and is cucumber ok for cats" avoids the AI slop and the first few entries are about whether cats can eat cucumbers.
@SebastianGallehr I mean, google has been known to manipulate search results for a long time.
I don't have a definitive opinion on browsers, there are a lot of options, with pros and cons.
