My taxi driver this evening, who drove me to #SocialBC meeting with @chris & @arbutus is from the #MiddleEast. He loved how I did a random #decolonization video in backseat. He loves how much I am very vocal, as a living war survivor & how open I am about the importance of public solidarity support for #Palestinians πŸ‰πŸ‡΅πŸ‡ΈπŸ‰πŸ’—

Another example of how I can't help but try to do #decolonization everywhere I go! I am super open about the need to #decolonize the whole world! I will spread the word & am used to dealing with jerks who hate my decolonization efforts too. Fuck em. Weakass shits.
I also successfully chatted with another local taxi driver earlier in the day - he transported me to LifeCycles. He's from Syria & loved hearing me chat about the need to abolish UN vetoes! He was grumpy faced when picking me up. He was grinning & glowing when dropping me off & told me that I'm a wonderful passenger! He also loved learning more about LifeCycles & the work we do around communities. He's going to start volunteering with his wife! #Winning
All #TaxiDrivers are captive audiences for me. I will capitalize on those opportunities to share the good words about nonprofit work that I'm involved in & do random, spontaneous recruiting, that way βœŒοΈπŸ’—
I'm basically an unpaid backseat local decolonial community worker. For the most part. Not complaining about that.
