Also, on this day ten years ago, I first stepped foot in Taiwan (wearing a Departures t-shirt).

The very first thing I did when arriving late at night all those years ago was eat 烤饅頭 at 佳吉烤饅頭, so the other night I did the same thing too.

It’s just down the road and hasn’t changed a bit in the past 10 years (even the staff are the same).
