That said, do visit Alchemy Stitches. Lita is the best - does wonderful commissions, teaches people how to sew, and gives back to the local community by making her classes discounted or free to those with financial barriers. She's the reason I managed to finish that see-through tote bag I was reporting on all those months ago. She made working with zippers less scary for me.

(She also used to skate with us. Fantastic blocker, patient trainer, amazing friend. 💗 )
