This afternoon I had an enlightening talk with a very friendly lady of the local foodbank. As it turns out I am not eligible for food support right now, but... when my son turns 18 within two months I'll lose the government support against child poverty and that's 30% of my monthly net. income. I'll be eligible then.

Look at me being pro-active. Woohoo

It's so stupid. What did the government think? O, the kid turns 18. Now, he can choose to finish his education and starve to death or work to support his family and later they'll complain he never finished school and here's another piece of under educated lowlife we have to support financially because you'll never earn enough to pay rent unassisted.
